Basement Wall Crack Repair | Foundation Wall Crack Repair The Basement Self Solve Basement Wall Crack Repair kit is an effective and affordable solution for repairing concrete basement wall cracks. The Basement Wall Crack Repair kit is our best seller and is very easy to use! Fast facts:
About the Basement Wall Crack Repair Kit The Basement Self Solve Basement Wall Crack Repair Kit is perfect for the do-it-yourselfer and has everything you need to repair a wall crack as long as 10 Ft. The Basement Wall Crack Repair Kit uses a urethane to fill the void with flexibility. Basement Wall Crack Repair Kit Uses / Coverage Used for poured concrete foundations. This product is for you if you have wall cracks or leaking cold joints. Cold joints are where an existing foundation wall meets a new foundation wall such as in an addition or a new garage attached to a house. Because a chemical bond is not created when the new foundation meets the old, it typically becomes an area where water leaks through. This kit will cover up to 10 LF of wall cracks or cold joints. Product Comparison Our competitor’s products offer a quick fix by patching the wall with a product like hydraulic cement which is not able to withstand movement that happens with a foundation. Their product does not fill the void from inside to out, cannot withstand movement and will eventually crack and fail. Their product is only a temporary band aid. Instructions: Repair Guide – Concrete Crack Foam Injection REPAIR KIT CONTENTS 2 nozzles (use with The SELFSOLVE Injection Foam) TOOLS REQUIRED CRACK PREPARATION SURFACE PORT PLACEMENT SURFACE PORT ATTACHMENT AND SEALING OF THE CRACK 2. The next step is to work the mixed surface seal along the entire length of the crack using the plastic trowel. The recommended adhesive application is 1/8” thick and 1” wide. Make sure to mound sufficient extra epoxy around the base of the ports. 3. Let the surface seal and port adhesive cure before beginning injection, about 2 hours or until fingernail hard. INJECTION PROCEDURE 2. Place the nozzle into to the lowest port and begin pressing gently. Use about one tube every four to five feet. 4. Begin injecting slowly with low pressure allowing the injection foam time to flow into and fill all small fissures, until the foam begins to flow from the port above it. Plug the first port with the cap provided, and move up to the next port. Repeat this procedure until the entire crack has been filled with the foam. Note! The secret to effective crack injection is patient low-pressure introduction of the foam. Small or hairline cracks may take up to 2 minutes at each port for proper filling to take place.
